Job Details

Provide leadership and manage
other members of the membership support team including
recruitment of full-time and part time support.

Provide guidance on IT issues
related to monitoring and processing membership records.

Contact members at 3, 6 and 9
month intervals to remind of benefits and track satisfaction.

Help members with their
myriad requests for networking and event support.
-
Specifically run campaigns to
encourage members to upgrade (Individual to Corp/Entrepreneur)
and to engage members on using more advertising and become event sponsors.

Present regular reports on
membership retention and growth plans to senior members of the
Executive Committee.

Review and reform sales and
marketing materials in the physical and online space.

Liaise with and support key
membership service committees.

Take responsibility for
successful delivery of targets for membership retention and new
member sales.
Personal attributes:
-
3-5 years experience in sales
and client servicing, preferable in a membership capacity.

The ability to motivate and
track the progress of junior staff to achieve superior results.

Experience in preparing and
reporting on relevant sales data to senior executives.
-
Experience in using online
tools to boost sales leads an asset.
-
A strong professional network
in Hong Kong valuable.

Unbridled enthusiasm, high
energy and no complaints about long and unusual hours.

Native level English.
Cantonese, French would be assets.

Strong knowledge of Canadian
business, culture and public affairs an asset.
